Service Description

Our concealed weapons handgun training course is approximately 6 hours long and is designed to educate students in safe gun handling skills along with the use of handguns best suited for personal protection and / or home defense. This comprehensive course will cover basic knowledge to new gun owners and provide information to aid in your selection of a new handgun. This safety focused course will cover a wide area of topic including general firearm operation, vocabulary, and ammunition selection. Our highly experienced instructors will also cover handgun selection, basic shooting fundamentals, maintenance, safe storage, the concealed weapon permit process, and the use of applied force in self-defense situations. For those that do not own their own handgun and are looking to purchase one our instructors can assist in that selection process to custom fit your needs. Our class qualifies you to apply for your Maine State concealed firearm permit, Compliant with M.S.R.A Title 25, Chapter 252, Section 2003. The class consists of lecture, hands-on instruction and manipulation of the firearms, and course of live fire. Students can bring their own firearm, or one will be provided for you free of cost, along with ear & eye protection. Students using our firearms are required to purchase the 20 rounds needed for the course of fire from the range. Students who provide their own firearm will need to provide their own ammunition (20 rounds) as we cannot guarantee we will have ammunition in stock for your firearm. All firearms will be safety checked before entering classroom, as no ammunition is allowed until the range portion of the class.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before the class starts. Cancellation less than 24 hours before the class starts is not allowed and the cost of the class is not refundable. This policy will not be waived.
